Aphelion

Aphelion comprises of young professionals Lily Tamir-Regev (clarinet), Marcus Ho (cello) and Timothy O’ Malley (piano). Formed with a mission to discover new music and revive hidden gems, the ensemble enjoys the beautiful blend of the rich, low string sounds with the dark tone colour of the wind that orbit around the piano. The trio is based in Melbourne/Naarm, and is a result of friendship from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.
